Installers Terms and Conditions

I/We agree:

  • To treat all customers, including their family members and carers with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.

  • That I/we will complete all Tunstall issued training and maintain a working knowledge of the behaviour of the alarms/equipment. Tunstall requires training to be completed annually and when a new product is being offered.

  • To adhere to the installation procedures provided by Tunstall and maintain a work history of each job including the activities completed during installation. A history of all jobs includes installations completed, attempted installations, and jobs where you were unable to install.

  • To immediately notify Tunstall if I/we are unable complete the installation within the requested timeframe.

  • That our name/s including business name, telephone number and email address may be disclosed publicly.

  • That NO work shall be sub-contracted out without prior written authorisation from a representative from the Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd Management Team.

  • That I/we are legally able to work in Australia.

  • To maintain my/our public liability insurance policy and professional indemnity insurance policy and supply Tunstall with updated certificates when issued.

  • To supply my/our Australian Federal Police Check Number/s and update this check when requested.

  • To promptly notify Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd about any complaints and the nature of the complaint whilst carrying out the approved works; in particular where the complaint is alleging an interference with the privacy of an individual by any of our personnel or subcontractors.

  • To comply with The Australian Privacy Principles (APP) guidelines in conjunction with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and promptly notify and also provide assistance to investigate any breeches of privacy that may occur during the approved works to Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd.

  • To comply (notice given) if Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd wish to carry out an audit under their responsibilities to manage their contractors/ suppliers with regard to environmental and health and safety issues.

  • To ensure the information supplied is accurate and kept up to date. Provision of false or misleading information could result in exclusion from the Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd list of approved contractors.
