It follows that all Tunstall products and services adhere to relevant industry standards; including AS 4607 and ISO 9001 certification as detailed below. These demonstrate to both current and prospective clients that Tunstall is committed to upholding the world standards for quality, continuous improvement and, most importantly, customer satisfaction.

BS EN ISO 9001

The BS EN ISO 9001 encompasses the accreditation of design, manufacture and repair of electronic equipment for emergency communications for the elderly and infirm.

ISO 27001

ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard on how to manage information security.

It provides  a framework that helps organisations “establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve an information security management system (ISMS)”

 
 

ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, with guidance for its use, to enable an organisation to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill-health.

 
 

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organization can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements

 
 

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

 
 

AS 4607

Compliance with the Australian AS 4607 standard for monitoring centres and personal response systems means that we meet all requisites for: technical performance of alarm equipment, response centres responsibilities and procedures, risk management practices, installation procedures and record keeping.

 

AS 5182:2018

Tunstall is a member of the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) and satisfies the requirements as detailed in the Vendor Credentialing Standard AS 5182:2018 (VC Standard.


NDIS Accreditation

Tunstall Australasia Pty Ltd complies with the requirements of The National Disability Insurance Scheme (Provider Registration & practice Standards) Rules 2018 for the following scope:

 

Membership in key industry groups

Tunstall is proud to be an active member of key industry associations and alliances, such as the Personal Emergency Response Services Limited (PERSL), the Continua Health Alliance (CHA), and MTAA.

Furthermore, we have also implemented policy and procedures in line with Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) requirements. This involves TGA approval of medical equipment and its management.

Tunstall prides itself and its staff on their integrity and conduct. As such, we operate a zero tolerance approach to the making or receiving of bribes or corrupt payments or practices, in any form. Our Anti-Bribery Policy sets out the standards and behaviours that Tunstall upholds and requires from all employees.
